SEA LIBRARY

How To Shop & Download Articles or F&B Tests

The SEA Library allows you to download articles 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so that you can access your independent boating information without delay.

We do not post hard copies of individual SEA Library articles, as you can download these articles immediately and print them out yourself at home.

However, books, magazines, videos and other physical items that are ordered, are posted through Australia Post.

How to BUY a SEA Library Article

  1. Browse through the SEA Library, select the article you wish to purchase by clicking "Add To Cart" (the shopping trolley pic). Continue browsing - you can add many articles, books and other items to your cart.

  2. Don't just browse in the SEA Library - have a look at our books, videos and clothing and other gear in Ruth’s Shop.

  3. You can view your cart at any time and add or remove items. After viewing the cart you can click "Continue Shopping" and make more selections or . . . .

  4. Select "To Checkout" when you are happy with your selection.

  5. A form appears which asks for your name, address and credit card details, etc. When you have completed this form (you must enter info in all grey boxes) press "Continue" and then "Confirm Order". The screen goes blank for a moment then . . . if your credit card is approved then a TAX Invoice will appear on screen.

  6. Select the "Print" icon this will open a printer friendly version of your tax invoice, clicking the printer icon on this page or choosing "File" then "Print" from the browser menu will print the tax invoice.

The Tax Invoice will print.  On it is your user name and password.

(If you have a hassle printing, then just write down the username and password)

How to Download a Purchased SEA Library Article

You have 48 hours to download these purchased PDF files, after that your user name and password will expire.

However, if you don't get it right the first time, you get 48 hours to work it out or contact us for help.

  1. Print the Tax Invoice (If you haven't printed your TAX Invoice read the paragraph (5) above.)

  2. Go to this link http://www.seamedia.com.au/login/ which takes you to our log-in page. (Or http://www.seamedia.com.au and select log-in on the top menu bar).

  3. Type in your user name and password (these are on your Tax Invoice)

  4. You will see a list of the articles you purchased which are ready to download.

  5. Click "Download PDF" next to the article you want to download. If you have more than one article, then just do this one article at a time. The screen will go blank whilst the Acrobat Reader program opens. Next the article will appear on your screen.

(NOTE: If you have a slow connection this may take some minutes)

  6. When the article shows on your screen you need to press "Save" (top left of your screen) or on some computers "File" then "Save".

This saves the article to your home computer. I usually save it to desktop, so it is easy to find - if you wish, you can then rename the file, too.

  7. Find the article on your computer, and print it out at home.

If you have problem with downloading then email me here at subs@seamedia.com.au

Please Note: Articles you have purchased will show here (ready for you to download to your computer) for 48 hours after you purchased the article.

If you have made multiple purchases in the last 48 hours you may have already visited this site and downloaded some articles.

All articles will still display here for 48 hours. If you have already downloaded some articles you can just download the most recent articles if you wish.

You have 48 hours to download these files after that your user name and password will expire.
